♔All work and no play or all play and no work?♔

You know how everyone says "Go poly very slack one! Don't need to study so hard there! All you do is have fun." Well.. fuck off man. If poly was so easy, everyone would be graduating with distinctions and 80% of the uni places would go to poly students. In my opinion, going to poly means working even harder than JC students. It means having more discipline than anyone else as when you slack off, no one, let me repeat, NO ONE is there to bug you to shape up. You do your work, good for you, if not i dont really care. There are no teachers there to bug you to hand in your work. You have to push yourself, if not, you'll just be left behind. And to counter the very slack part of the statement mentioned before, poly is tests after tests. And when the first wave is barely over, projects after projects come in. And when you finally think its done, its exams after exams. However, going to poly is not all that bad. I think i really get to learn things that i would never would have thought would be taught. I think the teachers i have right now are as willing to help and as approachable as the teachers back in my secondary school. Well.. all in all, although poly is not as slack as most people think it is or even having fun all the time, i think it has its fair share of fun and work. Which i think its probably best.Hearts, Fayrelove
